Critical Disclosure: SkyLink Broadband is an independent third-party service assistance provider. We are NOT an internet service provider (ISP), cable provider, or telecommunications company. We are NOT affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any internet, cable, or telecom service provider. We charge a separate service assistance fee for our guidance and support services.

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using SkyLink Broadband's website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using SkyLink Broadband's website, calling our support line, or engaging with our services in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Description of Services

2.1 What We Provide

SkyLink Broadband provides independent third-party service assistance, including:

  • Guidance for troubleshooting internet and cable issues
  • Technical support and explanation of concepts
  • Assistance with understanding service options
  • Step-by-step instructions for common problems
  • Information to help you navigate technical challenges

2.2 What We Do NOT Provide

SkyLink Broadband does NOT:

  • Sell, provide, or resell internet or cable services
  • Act as an internet service provider (ISP), cable provider, or telecommunications company
  • Directly repair or fix provider-side service issues
  • Access or control your service provider's systems or networks
  • Dispatch technicians or provide on-site installation/repair services
  • Represent, act on behalf of, or have any affiliation with any service provider
  • Guarantee service restoration or resolution of technical problems

3. Service Fees and Payment

3.1 Fee Disclosure

SkyLink Broadband charges a separate service assistance fee for our guidance and support services. This fee is independent of and in addition to any costs associated with your internet or cable service provider.

3.2 Fee Transparency

All applicable fees will be clearly disclosed to you before you receive our services. By proceeding with our assistance after fee disclosure, you agree to pay the stated fees.

3.3 Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time services are rendered or as otherwise specified. We accept payment via credit card, debit card, or other methods as indicated. All fees are in U.S. dollars.

3.4 No Refund for Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for charges from your internet or cable provider. Our refund policy applies only to fees paid to SkyLink Broadband. See our Refund Policy for details.

4. User Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Follow guidance and instructions provided by our agents
  • Treat our agents with respect and professionalism
  • Not use our services for illegal or unauthorized purposes
  • Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt our services
  • Understand that we cannot guarantee specific outcomes
  • Take responsibility for implementing any troubleshooting steps

5. Limitations of Service

5.1 No Guarantees

While we strive to provide helpful guidance, we cannot guarantee:

  • Resolution of your internet or cable issues
  • Service restoration from your provider
  • Specific outcomes or results
  • Compatibility with all equipment or configurations
  • Availability of services at all times without interruption

5.2 Provider Limitations

Many technical issues are outside our control and require action from your internet or cable provider. We can guide you on next steps, but we cannot control provider response times, policies, or service restoration.

5.3 Advisory Nature

Our services are advisory in nature. You are responsible for deciding whether to follow our guidance and for any actions you take based on our assistance.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • Our services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from our services will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors or defects will be corrected
  • Our guidance will resolve your technical issues

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKYLINK BROADBAND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use our services
  • Any conduct or content of any third party
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Service interruptions or outages from your provider
  • Actions taken based on our guidance or assistance

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SKYLINK BROADBAND FOR SERVICES IN THE PRECEDING THREE (3) MONTHS.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SkyLink Broadband, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of our services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Any actions taken based on our guidance

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and materials provided through our services, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and compilation thereof, are the property of SkyLink Broadband and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third parties. Your use of third-party websites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe:

  • Violates these Terms
  • Is harmful to other users or our business
  • Involves fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Subjects us to potential liability

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state where SkyLink Broadband is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12.2 Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.

12.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any arbitration or proceeding shall be limited to the dispute between you and SkyLink Broadband individually. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no arbitration or proceeding shall be joined with any other, and there shall be no right or authority for any dispute to be arbitrated on a class-action basis.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SkyLink Broadband regarding our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
